Customer Support Specialist

Plovdiv (Bulgaria) or Vienna (Austria) | f/m/x | Full-time

As part of our Customer Team, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of event projects for both new and existing clients using our event software and serve as the primary point of contact for all questions related to our event marketing platform.

As a member of our growing Customer Team, you’ll take care of our users in the DACH region and ensure they get the most out of our platform.

Ideally, you have several years of experience in the event industry and/or have successfully worked in technical support or service roles at a B2B SaaS company.

Your Responsibilities and Tasks

  • $You handle client inquiries in both German and English through multiple channels, including phone and our support ticket system.
  • $You manage the support and service ticket desks and ensure that service level agreements (SLAs) and response times are consistently met.
  • $You serve as the first point of contact for clients, providing assistance with issues and offering solutions.
  • $You conduct online trainings for new and existing clients to familiarize them with Invitario’s software and services.
  • $You support clients in successfully implementing their event projects using our event software. This includes responsibility for briefing, event setup within the platform, and post-project follow-up.
  • $When needed, you provide on-site support at events in the DACH region to assist clients with using the software and hardware.
  • $You review and identify bugs and feature requests, and report them internally. You also test new features and resolved bug tickets as part of the development cycle.
  • $You keep the Knowledge Base articles up to date in both German and English and continuously work on improving support processes and procedures.
  • $As a subject-matter and product expert for Invitario, you represent the company and our event marketing solutions, confidently presenting our platform to both prospective and existing clients.
  • $You stay up to date on industry trends and software updates to continuously improve client support and consulting.

Our Requirements

  • $You have at least two years of experience providing service or technical support in a SaaS environment.
  • $A plus: Experience in the event industry or event management—you’re familiar with the life of an event planner and the lifecycle of an event.
  • $You bring basic IT knowledge to our team and have a foundational understanding of HTML and CSS.
  • $Basic knowledge of software development processes.
  • $Excellent communication skills in German and English.
  • $Confident presence in meetings, webinars, and client conversations.
  • $Experience working in cross-functional teams.
  • $Ability to effectively prepare and deliver presentations and online demos.
  • $Strong interpersonal skills and a strong work ethic.
  • $Ability to prioritize in a fast-changing environment.
  • $Familiarity with key software tools such as HubSpot, Jira, Confluence, and Slack is a plus.

For legal reasons, we are required under Austrian law to disclose the minimum salary for this position. It is at least EUR 33,600 gross per year. Depending on your qualifications and experience, we offer a higher salary along with numerous benefits (see below).
